The Bloom Organization today announced the 60% equity interest sale of its client, Sleep Florida, LLC (“Sleep Florida”), to Baptist Health South Florida, Inc. (“BHSF”).

Sleep Florida’s two state-of-the-art facilities in Miami and Pembroke Pines provide diagnostic sleep testing services and treatment for sleep disorders. In addition, the Sleep Florida locations have been utilized for numerous research trials.

Baptist Health South Florida is the largest not-for-profit health care organization in the Miami, FL region. Affiliates of Baptist Health include: Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Baptist Children's Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Homestead Hospital and Mariners Hospital. West Kendall Baptist Hospital is also scheduled to open in 2011. Baptist Health also offers a variety of healthcare services, such as outpatient/diagnostic and urgent care facilities, and home health care.

The Bloom Organization provided consulting services to Sleep Florida for the transaction.
