The Bloom Organization today announced the 51% equity interest sale of its client, Metropolitan Surgery Center, LLC (“Metropolitan”), to United Surgical Partners International (“USPI”). Metropolitan is a state-of-the-art multispecialty surgery center located in Hackensack, New Jersey with 26 physician owners. The center was opened in 2006 and its surgical specialties include orthopedics, urology, podiatry, ENT, and pain management. USPI is one of the nation’s leading providers of outpatient surgery through its ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals. The Bloom Organization provided consulting services for the transaction along with being an equity owner, developer and center manager since its inception.
