Englewood GI Group Joint Ventures in New Endo CenterPosted on September 21th, 2016 by The Bloom Organization
The Bloom Organization today announced the closing of the Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy (“Center”). The Center is a joint-venture between The Gastroenterology Group of Northern New Jersey (“GGNNJ”), Physicians’ Endoscopy and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
The 10,000 square foot, state-of-the-art endoscopy center was opened in March 2016. The facility replaced and expanded the capacity of two, one-room endoscopy centers previously operated by GGNNJ. The Center plans to treat more than 8,000 gastroenterology patients annually.
“This was truly a one-of-a-kind transaction,” said Henry Bloom, President of The Bloom Organization. “The opportunity for our physician clients to participate in a liquidity event while simultaneously opening a brand-new facility was unique. This transaction well represents the value of quality endoscopy practices like GGNNJ,” added Mr. Bloom.
